I realize the news media has to struggle to report on everything these days with some policies seeming to change daily, but I am nonetheless surprised and disturbed by the lack of reporting or commentary on the recent deal between Nippon Steel, US Steel, and
Yeah, anything that even looks like nationalization of an industry is terrifying. However, I don't think that's what this market-loving Prez has in mind. Regarding war, no, Iran was desperate for a ceasefire and they couldn't even agree to close the straight of Hormuz. Iran has been invading US airspace almost nonstop for over a year with swarms of drones, each bigger than my car. They have threatened the US so often that they even purchased billboards here to convey those threats. Trump knew that if Iran's nuclear ambitions weren't immediately stopped, all-out war with Iran was inevitable and it could be a nuclear war. I only hope that their nuclear program was set back more than just a few months... https://posocap.com
I see no good evidence to think this president is a free-marketer. (For just the most obvious current example, he doesn't want people to hire the people they choose; demanding he can limit who is eligible.) He seems to be a lover of markets that he can manipulate to his advantage (the $trump coin comes to mind). But what evidence is there that Iran "has been invading US airspace almost nonstop for over a year with swarms of drones"? Please point me to something about this. (Billboards are a matter of free speech, so far as I am concerned; of course, credible threats of violence are a different matter.)
